DIY CLASS POLICIES
CANCELLATIONS: We require a 72 hour notice for cancellations. If there is a need to cancel, we will issue a credit towards another class within a one year time frame. If cancellation is NOT 72 hours prior, your registration fee is non-refundable. We can however transfer your registration to another person with a $10 stencil re-cut fee for wood classes. For no show registrants, no refunds or credits will be given.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: For the relaxation and enjoyment of our guest, we require that all guest are 16 and over. If bringing a teen, please keep in mind that these are adult classes and there may be alcoholic beverages brought by guests. If you have a child or tween that loves to make things please look for one of our child or tween classes or book a private party for celebrations. Please do NOT bring children unless they meet the age requirements. You will be asked to leave and reschedule your class when you are child free.
CANVAS CLASSES: you will be working on the picture selection given for that class. Everyone must create the same piece of art.
PALLET WOOD CLASSES: Any changes to designs, must be submitted 48 hours prior to class. If you have a change after the 48 hours, we can honor your requests with a $15 stencil re-cut fee due at the start of your class.
CUSTOM SIGNS: We can typically honor special request. If you don't see something you like in the gallery, let us know your idea and we will design you a sign for an extra $25 design fee. Please remember, if you give us a picture of a sign you find somewhere else, there are copyright laws on that sign. We can create something for you similar, but not exactly what you give us.
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
BYOB: We are a byob extablishment. Feel free to bring your choice of alcoholic beverage.
We have a variety of small snacks, water, soda & coffee available for purchase.
SAFTEY WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY: We know this is wordy, but as a small business we need to cover all aspects for other participants and our own well-being.
You acknowledge you will be using power tools, hand tools, paints. stains and other tools and supplies that you are aware that could cause injuries. You take full responsibility onto yourself for incidences to yourself and others because of your actions. You take full responsibility for bringing and consuming alcoholic beverages, including driving under the influence to and from our property.
You agree that by bringing and consuming alcoholic beverages for the class to the following:
-you will have a sober/legal way to and from our shop
-you are responsible for all cost if you injure yourself or others on our property or with our property
-Dakota Logo, llc dba Urban Revival or any company listed below, are not responsible for any cost or legal fees due to the consumption of alcohol.
I(the participant), hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the class, and do hereby release and forever discharge Dakota Logo LLC dba Urban Revival, 4A Properties, 5K Properties or any guest company involved in the class, located at 302 Oak St, Farmington, Minnesota 55024, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned class, including traveling to and from an event related to this Activity. I am aware that I am participating in the class at my own risk.
